What computer do I need?
Your computer must have a 486/66-MHz processor or higher (Pentium processor recommended), 16Mb of RAM, a mouse and a modem or Internet connection. Your computer must also have one of the following operating system versions or above: Windows 98, 2000 with SP 2, NT 4.0 with SP 4 or XP for a PC, or Mac OS8.1 for a Macintosh
What browser do I need?
For PC users The minimum browser versions we support are:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, with High Encryption Pack
- Mozilla Firefox 1.0 (with 128-bit encryption)
- You'll also need to ensure that your browser is upgraded to 128-bit encryption to access your accounts. You can check your browser version and encryption level by clicking on 'About' under 'Help'.

For Apple Macintosh users If you encounter problems with the Security Certificate while using Internet Explorer, then please use:

ING Direct is designed for display resolutions of 800x600 and above.
You need a minimum screen resolution of 800x600 - preferably 1024x768.

How do I enable cookies and JavaScript?
For Internet Explorer 6 and 7: Select 'Tools', followed by 'Internet options'. You will then need to click on the 'Security tab', click on 'Internet' zone and then select 'Medium Level'. You will then need to click on the 'Privacy tab', and set the privacy setting to 'Medium'.
How do I clear my internet cache?
For Internet Explorer 6 and 7: Click on "Tools" on the toolbar at the top of your page and then Select "Internet Options"; then select "Temporary Internet Files". Lastly select "Delete Files" and choose "Delete All Offline Content" from the pop up box.
It's not all visible on my screen. How do I print?
On your browser, select 'File' from the menu and then click 'Print'. From the pop-up window that appears select the printer you want and click the 'Print' button. If you download a document in PDF format, click the Print icon from the PDF menu bar.
I cannot see the numbers on the log in key pad, what do I need to do?
Browsers

Internet Explorer (version 6 or 7)
If you use Internet Explorer (version 6 or 7), go to the Tools menu, and select Internet Options. On the bottom right of the General tab in the dialog box, click the Accessibility button.
All options then displayed should be unchecked (or not ticked):
- 'Ignore colors specified on Web pages'
- 'Ignore font styles specified on Web pages'
- 'Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages'
- 'Format documents using my style sheet'
Click OK and restart Internet Explorer for the settings to take effect.
Firefox (version 1 or 2)
If you use Firefox (version 1 or 2) go to the Tools menu and click Options. Then click on the Content option at the top of the dialog box and then in Fonts & Colors select the Colors button. Tick the 'Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above' box. Click OK, and restart Firefox for these settings to take effect.
Operating System
Windows 2000 or XP
If you use Windows 2000 or XP operating system you may also need to go to the
Control Panel and click
Accessibility Options. Then click on the
Display option at the top of the dialog box and then deselect the
Use High Contrast setting. Click
Apply to apply the settings, once changed click
OK.
Windows Vista
If you use Vista operating system then you will need to go to the
Control Panel and click
Ease of Access and click
Ease of Access Center. Then click on
Set your High contrast and make sure that high contrast is disabled and try to access the website again.
