How does the ING Direct login procedure work?

This will then give you access to your account balances, your recent transaction history and enable you to make a deposit or withdrawal.
We are continually updating our systems with up to the minute technology and security measures to ensure that your money couldn’t be in safer hands.
- Just click on the ‘Login' button at the top right of any page of this website to access your account online. Click here to view the Login page.
- You will then be asked to enter your 9-digit customer number.
- Tick the ‘Remember my number?’ option to make subsequent logins easier. It will automatically insert your customer number here the next time you login. (You should not use this option on a public computer, such as an internet café or library.)
- Then enter your Last name and click continue. (Last name entry is not case sensitive). For Power of Attorney accounts you will need to enter the last name using the following format: POA for Mr/Mrs/Miss donor's first name & donor's last name.
- Using your mouse, enter the 3 randomly requested digits from your PIN from the onscreen Key Pad.
- You will also be asked to set a memorable date when you login for the first time. This should be in dd/mm/yy format and cannot be the same as your date of birth or PIN.
- The numbers on the Key Pad will change place each time you visit this screen – this is to minimise the risk of anything you type into your computer being captured and stored by others. Please visit our security section for more information.
