Open an account
In order to open a Fixed Rate Savings Account you need to be an existing savings customer holding an ING Direct Savings Account. This is so that you can transfer your funds from your ING Direct Savings Account to your Fixed Rate Savings Account.
Once you have opened your ING Direct Savings Account and received your welcome pack, you can then open a Fixed Rate Savings Account, simply log into your account and click on the 'open an account' tab and select 'Fixed Rate'.

After the fixed rate term ends, the balance and the interest earned will automatically move back to your ING Direct Savings Account.
