If you don’t have an ING Direct Savings Account
You must open an ING Direct Savings Account before you can open a fixed rate account. Once you have opened your ING Direct Savings Account and received your welcome pack you can open your fixed rate account online or over the phone by calling our award winning UK call centre on 0800 183 8074

Must open an ING Direct Savings Account first. Interest calculated daily and paid at maturity. Interest is fixed for the term specified on the rate tables. Rates correct as at 17/07/08. There is no cooling off period. Full terms and conditions available upon request. Payments on early closure are made by electronic bank transfer and are normally processed within 3-4 business days. If your ING Direct Savings Account is a single named account, your Fixed Rate Savings Account will be opened as a single account. If your ING Direct Savings Account is a joint named account, your Fixed Rate Savings Account will be opened as a joint named account. Gross per annum = annualised rate before deduction of tax at standard rate. AER = Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded once each year. After the Fixed Rate term ends the balance and interest automatically moves back to your ING Direct Savings Account. Please be aware that if you were to close your fixed rate savings account before the end of the fixed rate term, you would incur a loss of interest. We would deduct 90 days of gross interest from the interest you have earned or, if you earned less than 90 days interest, no interest will be paid to you.
