Our online registration system is only for customers who are opening their first account with ING Direct. To reactivate your account, or to add new products to help you achieve your savings goals, please call us on 0800 183 8053. Our lines are open Monday - Friday 7am - 11pm and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 9am - 9pm. (Calls from UK land lines are free. The costs from mobile phones may vary)

Please note that to apply for our new customer introductory rate you cannot have held an ING Direct Savings Account for at least 6 months, otherwise the standard variable rate applies. Therefore, if your account closed on or after 19 Sep 2009, please call us to talk about the other savings products we have for you

NEW CUSTOMER QUALIFICATION

To open an ING Direct Savings Account you need to:

• Be aged 18 years or over
• Be a UK resident**
• Hold a Personal UK Current Account (with a cheque book and Direct Debit facility)
  Why do you need this type of account?
• Have access to a touch tone telephone
• Have not had an ING Direct Savings Account in the last 6 months to qualify for the
  introductory rate otherwise our standard variable rate applies.

For your data security, your online application will time out in 20 minutes if left inactive, therefore please make sure you have all your relevant current account details to hand before you start:

• Bank sort code
• Current account number

**Our savings accounts are available to people who are 'ordinarily resident' (that is who normally live) in the UK (not including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for tax purposes.
